Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi - Leh

Arrive at Kushok Bakula airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude, met by our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh city 3 to 4 km. On arrival at the hotel welcome drink and then procced to your rooms and take fullday at rest to acclimatize yourself completely to the high altitudes of Ladakh which is must. Evening easy walk to Leh bazaar. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2

Leh - Indus Valley Tour

Today we shall take you for a Fullday tour of some of the most important and beautiful Monasteries and Palaces on the Indus Valley along driving along River Indus. You shall visit the former summer Palace of the kings of Ladakh i.e. Shey Palace, mini potala like Monastery in Ladakh i.e. Thiksey Monastery which also enshrines the most beautiful statue of Maitrey Buddha and later the largest and the richest monastery in Ladakh i.e. Hemis Monastery. Back to Leh by evening and free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Leh

Leh Palace

Today we take a relaxing day till lunch time, after lunch we proceed to visit Leh Palace, the formidable 16th century seat of the Kingdom of Ladakh, thereafter we drive to visit Stanti stupa, a lovely white stupa atop a low lying hill and then members will enjoy a short walk to Leh bazaar through the Changspa street which is dotted with curio shops, local houses, and small cafeterias. Spend some time in Leh bazaar exploring some of its interesting markets. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Leh: Mountain Biking

Morning after breakfast we drive upto Khardongla pass 49 km/ 2 hrs – the world highest motorable road at 18380ft. arrive at Khardongla pass where we get down the jeeps and enjoy stunning views of Himalayas, later after sometime prepare to experience a thrilling Mountain Biking (cycling) from Khardongla pass down to Leh covering in approx 2Hr :30 minutes…. A great mountain experience zigzagging down to Leh town. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5

Leh – Likir : River Rafting

Morning after an early breakfast we proceed to Zanskar river side, to enjoy an exciting White water River Rafting on Zanskar River, negotiating challenging yet safe river rapids till Nimoo village in approx 2 hrs. Hot lunch on arrival at the Nimoo finishing point, and then afternoon we drive further 25 kms to Likir village where we put-up the night in a hotel. If desire members can walk around the lovely village.

Day 6

Likir - Yangthang - Rizong - Ulleytokpo: Trekking

Morning after breakfast we drive to Yangthang village 15kms and then enjoy a lovely trek through the beautiful Rizong valley down the valley upto Rizong Monastery taking 2 hrs easy hike. On arrival at Rizong we visit the monastery and then drive to Ulley Resort.

Day 7

Ulleytokpo - Stok

Morning we drive to back the national highway towards Leh and stay overnight at Stok Village, overlooking the Indus valley. In the evening we visit a local family house to explore Ladakhi way of family Life & see a typical Ladakhi kitchen where members will try homemade butter tea and barley drink. and Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 8

Stok - Pangong - Leh

Pangong Lake

Early morning fullday excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. Evening free in the market. Overnight at the hotel

Day 9

Leh Delhi.

Early morning transfer to KBR airport to board flight for onward destination.

Any Changes Of Cancellation After Cancellation Dateline Will Result In Cancellation Charges.
No Refund for Any Utilized Service or Sightseeing but we try it.
Surcharge applicable subject to late / early arrival or departure transfers.
Cost may be changes if there would be any change in fuel prices or other conditions.
100 % Payment is required at the time of booking / confirmation.
Anything other than not mention in includes.
Package rate are subject to change without prior notice.
Parking is always a big problem at hill station, so sometimes drivers have to park the vehicle away from the hotel. Please ring your driver 1 hour prior leaving the hotel.
Please mention the timing as per the itinerary so as to avoid chaos.
Khan Travel Agency will not be responsible for civil disturbance, theft, accidents, natural calamities, traffic jam, and vehicle breakdown, delay Train / Bus / Air plane and other such incidents beyond human control, but we will try to arrange for the same alternate in condition of vehicle breakdown.
Any personal entertainment will be paid by client.
Refund of cancellation strictly depends open concerned Hotel’s cancellation policy.
As Per Hotel’s Policy Check in before 07:00 A.M. will be charged for 1 additional day & Check in between 07:00 A.M. & 11 A.M. will be charged 50 % of Room Rent.
As Per Hotel’s Policy Check out after 04:00 P.M. will be charged 1 additional day & Check out between 11,00 A.M. & 04:00 P.M. will be charged 50 % Of Room Rent.
All disputes are subject to jurisdiction of courts only.

Very Important : Unfortunately the roads of some parts not very good, which take more time of travel from one place to another and breakdown of vehicle can’t be denied. We do take extra precautions on these routes and vehicles.

Child policy –Kids below 5 Years will be complimentary & between 6-12 Years will be Extra Charged.
AC is not work on Hill Area in all AC Transportation so kindly understand of this situation.

USEFUL TIPS :
Say “JULLEY” while meeting people and receiving favors in Ladakh, it means both “Namaste” and “Shukriya”
Avoid bringing or using polythene bags as it is strictly banned in Ladakh.
All personal garbage like pack lunch boxes, wafers, mineral water bottles etc must be brought back to your hotel, as littering is prohibited in Ladakh.
Always put off your shoes before entering a monastery chapel
Take permission from the monks before taking photos inside the monasteries.
Avoid offerings sweets / tips etc to local children.
Always take clockwise direction while visiting Stupas and Monasteries.
Smoking / drinking around religious shrines are not welcomed.
And always wear your smile, you will win many friends.
