The bird sanctuary is sprawled across an area of 14 acres houses numerous bird species like Waterfowl, Owls, Cuckoo, Herons, Egrets, Parrots, Water Ducks, Larks, Flycatchers, Teal, and Wood Beetle. It also comprises the Pathiramanal island, the best place to spot migratory birds of various species including the Siberian Crane.
