After breakfast drive to Pondichery and check in at the hotel. Pondicherry - The small Union Territory is located in the eastern side of the Indian Peninsula. Even after the Independence of India, Pondicherry was under the French rule and it became a part of the Indian Union in 1954. Pondicherry is the place where history lingers in its majestic buildings and boulevards. The French legacy is evident in its stunning landscape and old churches. Afternoon visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Located on Rue de la marine, is the main attraction of Pondicherry. The Ashram was founded by Sri Aurobindo Ghose in 1926. He, the poet philosopher founded the Ashram to help man reach the zenith of his evolution through spiritual exercises and yoga, combined with physical activity and productive work. There are meditation sessions from Mondays to Fridays (except Thursday) 7.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. around the Samadhi. Also visiting Pondicherry Museum - On display are the findings of Arikamedu, the Chola bronzes and sculptures, glimpses of French heritage, specimens of modern and traditional handicraft, paintings, armouries, carvings and many other things of historical interest. War Memorial (French) - The French War Memorial on Goubert Avenue is solemn reminder of those brave soldiers who laid down their lives for their country during the First World War. Botanical Garden - Toy rail and the Jawahar BAL Bhavan is the major attractions of the park.Overnight at Pondicherry.

Later travel by road to Tanjore, (Thanjavur) which was the ancient capital of Chola kings. Visit the Brihadeshwara temple, which was built by Raja and is termed as the crowning glory of Chola temple architecture. This temple is one of the monuments in India with World Heritage listing. Also visit the Thanjavur Palace, which was constructed in 1550 and has huge corridors, spacious halls, observation and arsenal towers. Overnight at Thanjavur.

After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Tiruchirappalli (Trichy). Trichy the most famous landmark of this bustling town - the Rock Fort Temple, a spectacular monument perched on a massive rocky outcrop, which rises abruptly from the plain to tower over the old city. It is reached by a flight of steep steps cut into the rock and from its summit you get a fantastic view of the town plus its other main landmark, the Sri Ranganathanswami Temple. This temple is one of the largest and most interesting temple complexes in India, built on an island in the middle of the Cauvery River and covering a staggering 2.5 sq km and Jambukeshwara Temples. Evening drive back to hotel or take a walk through old city particularly big bazaar street and China bazaar. Overnight in Trichy.

After breakfast drive to Maduri.After a short relaxation at your hotel drive to Madurai Meenakshi Temple, one of the largest temple complex in India built between the 16th and 18th centuries. Apart from the estimated 33 million sculptures there, the temple is absolutely absorbing with the endless rounds of ceremonies, prostration of countless devotees and glittering market stalls, later visit Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight at Madurai.

After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari.Watching the sun rise and sun set from here is the big attraction,especially on the full moon day in April,when it's possible to see both the setting sun and rising moon on the same horizon.Other attractions are Kumari Amman Temple,Gandhi Mandapam and Vivekananda Memorial.Overnight at Kanniyakumari.

After breakfast ,check out and drive to Thiruvananthapuram.The name “Thiruvananthapuram” means the ‘abode of Anantha’ – referring to the sacred snake god on whom Lord Vishnu reclines.The British found the name too much of a mouthful and anglicised it to ‘Trivandrum’.The capital of Kerala,this unpretentious city is clean,green and has a leisurely feel to it.
You can take sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city, (16 kms) the capital of the state of Kerala. The famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Swami Temple is dedicated to Vishnu and is a landmark in the city.Other places of interest are the Putten Malige Palace, Art gallery & Zoo.
By evening proceed to the Trivandrum airport/raiway station in time for your flight/train back home. On departure the tour concludes with happy memories. Tour concludes.
