Visit Swayambhunath Stupa with its 2,500 year history. Later visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residence, Kasthamandap, Mahadev & Parvati Temple, Kumari palace sacred for Buddhists and Hindus and bazaars.
In the afternoon, visit Patan Durbar Square, the old Newar City with the Golden Gate, the Temple of Taleju, Golden Temple and surrounding beautiful monument, overnight at hotel.

Full day tour, in the morning drive to Shankhu and visit Vajra Jogini, an ancient commercial town route to Lhasa (Tibet). The town established during Licchavi period, 4th century, can still see the signs of former prosperity in Sankhu, including ancient temples (Vajra Jogini being the most prominent) and wood carvings, later visit to Boudhanath with important Buddhist monasteries, in the evening tour of Pashupatinath, the most sacred Hindu temple on the banks of the river Bagamati, Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Nagarkot, to explore village & view majestic Himalayan ranges, (if weather permits), later drive or short walk 2 hrs to Changu Narayan, the oldest temple of Nepal, later visit to Bhaktapur, the world heritage site, the most beautiful medieval city of the country. Overnight at the hotel.

The flight with a thrilling view of the Himalayas, and green valleys, arrive in Paro, upon arrival meets, Transfer to Thimpu (2 hrs.) Afternoon free for independent activities, walking around city. Overnight at hotel.

Visit Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong at present is government secretary building, with special permission visit & in the afternoon tour of the school of art, painting and medicine, national library, the handicrafts center and Simtokha Dzong (1629 AD) the largest monastic school, Pangri Zampa monastery, overnight at hotel.

In the morning, you will make the 1 ½ hour road journey to Paro passing via Simtokha village and the Dzong.
In the afternoon, exploration of Paro valley; visit the national museum, a fascinating place housed in an old watchtower above the huge Paro Dzong (monastery/fortress). The museum holds a fantastic collection of Bhutanese national treasures ranging from ancient armour to textiles and Thanka paintings.
Paro Rinpung Dzong. the seat of the district administration as well as the home for the monastic school. Built in 1645 A.D
Later visit Drugyel Dzong, although in ruins, holds great historical significance. It was from this fortress that the Bhutanese repelled many Tibetan invasions. The name means the victorious Bhutanese. This spot offers a magnificent vista of Mount Chomolhari, "Mountain of Goddess" (Alt.7329 mtrs).
Also visit Kyichu Lhakhang and a typical Bhutanese farm house on the way back.

Drive 12km to Taktsang, or the Tiger's Nest Monastery. The most famous founded in the late 1600’s, situated on rocky ledge 900m, From the parking area it is a two hour walk, mostly through coniferous forest, up a steep path to the view point from where there are spectacular views of the monastery.
The walk to a viewpoint and small café takes around 2 hours each way. Return to Paro and stroll around the small town. Overnight at Hotel in Paro.
